It’s almost a new year.  Here’s hoping your 2020 is full of music, dancing, celebrations, and fun.  I hope you’re planning some fun parties or some kind of celebrations.  I know I have a few exciting weddings to look forward to this year.  And if you just got engaged, congratulations!  Take a deep breath, and then get to the planning.  If you need help, you know where to find me!

Happy New Year to all!  If you just got engaged, please accept my congratulations.  Enjoy your engagement.  There’s no time like it.  And remember to leave plenty of time to spend with your spouse-to-be, even while you are busy planning your wedding.

I couldn’t bring myself to write anything on Monday, as I usually do, after hearing the news from Orlando, FL.  To all my LBGTQ friends, family, and clients, I want to say that you matter to me.  At a time when it might seem like the world wants you gone, I say to you that I want you here.  And I want you to be able to live your life in your own way, without fear.  Love and solidarity to all who need it.

And, as Mother Jones said, “Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living.”
